Senior MES/MOM Specialist – Ignition

We are seeking a Senior MES MOM Specialist with Ignition to design, develop, and implement SCADA and MES applications. In this role, you will support the digitalization efforts of medium- and large-sized customers across industries, including food & beverage, automotive, life sciences, and aerospace. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality MES/MOM solutions tailored to optimize manufacturing processes and support production efficiency.

This position combines expertise in software engineering, manufacturing operations, and customer engagement. While most of the development and testing activities take place off-site, you will occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment and implementation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or related fields of study.
• More than 7 years of professional experience in SCADA and/or MES/MOM technical projects.

Core Expertise:

• Expertise in Ignition SCADA (Perspective, Vision, scripting, database connections) or other SCADA platforms.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, .NET, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in SQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle) for MES/SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (OPC UA, RS232, XML).

Industrial Automation Knowledge:

• Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and optimization techniques.
